"The camera", as soon as we hear this word, comes to our mind about a camera with the largest round lens in the center of the front. But now the camera can be found in different sizes, different shapes, and used for different purposes.
Cameras, such as a digital camera, a mobile phone camera, or a drone are the most popular.
The question is, "How to choose the right gear for candid photography?" That is, we will talk further.
The camera on my mobile phone is good enough, why should I spend on another camera? I will help you to understand it correctly at such a time.
It seems that the camera of a mobile phone and the digital camera can be used at the same time. But these two are two sensor sizes. That is to say, simply the two qualities of the two captured photos.
Let's try to understand from the chart below.
For a start, you can choose a crop sensor camera. The first important thing is to get used to handling the camera. That is the main reason you should buy a camera at the entry-level. It is wise to have a kit lens with the camera. Because it is easy to learn from the kit lens.
There is no need to worry about the brand when choosing a camera. Because every crop body we see on the market today has more or less the same output, I'm still of the opinion that it would be more appropriate to go for a mirrorless body. Such as

So when it comes to practical experience with handling, the understanding of the lens comes automatically. Once you begin to understand the maximum range that a kit lens can go, you can add a new lens to your collection. Talking about lenses like that, it can be said that the prime lens is the most suitable.
I will soon publish a detailed post about the benefits of Prime Lens, until then I will give a brief introduction about Prime Lens.

Prime lenses are available in a variety of fix focal lengths. But since you are using a cropped body, I recommend focusing on the 24/ 30/ 35/ 50 mm range.
It is important to understand that the output of a crop body is always x1.5 or x1.6 of the focal length of the lens. Therefore, when choosing a prime lens, you should always decide on the focal length really needed. For example, the range of a 24mm lens is 24x1.5 = 36mm, 30x1.5 = 45mm, 50mm outputs 50x1.5 = 75mm. It has to be understood here that as the value increases, the area captured by the camera decreases.
The main benefit of a prime lens is that the aperture can go up a lot. This means that the amount of light entering the camera is greater than that of a normal lens. Then you can get a lot of benefits in low light situations. It also has the ability to maintain a relatively high shutter speed. Like all of these, the prime lens helps to achieve a high picture quality with creamy bokeh.

If you are planning to start photography in full-frame gear, you have more freedom to choose a suitable lens. They have quality glass, which is very expensive and relatively high in quality. However, using a prime lens for candid photos is advantageous in any camera category.
Finally, my advice is to take a kit lens with an entry-level camera and start capturing photos. Get used to it and find your own style without spending a fortune. Then you can invest money in a good lens and body according to your need.
The most important thing is to first find out the artist in you.
